The Batting for Change team would like to send a big congratulations to two of our ambassadors, Alyssa Healy and Moises Henriques, following the Australian Cricket Awards last night.
Alyssa Healy, star wicketkeeper for both the Australian team and the Sydney Sixers, was crowned the best cricketer in Australia as she took home the Belinda Clark Award for the first time. She also won the inaugural individual ODI Player of the Year and T20I Player of the Year awards. LBW Trust ambassador Ellyse Perry finished fourth in Belinda Clark Award voting and third in T20I Player of the Year award voting.
Meanwhile, Moises Henriques was celebrated for his efforts off the field and won the inaugural Community Champion Award. He spent much of the last year paving the way for a more open conversation about mental health, and we are proud of everything he has been able to accomplish.
